YOKAI Hazy IPA

From Nozawa Onsen to Melbourne, the love of a double dry hopped Hazy IPA is strong.…Introducing Yokai Hazy IPA! 

This beer was brewed in collaboration with head brewer Tom and his team at AJB Co. in Nozawa Onsen, Japan, to celebrate Dosojin Matsuri, one of the great Fire Festivals of the region. The same beer was brewed by AJB Co. and has been released in Japan.

The Dosojin Matsuri fire festival celebrates the birth of the first child, blesses marriages, and exorcises evil spirits known as ‘yokai’. 

Scotty met Tom, head brewer and owner of AJB Co in Beijing 6 years ago. Since then Wolf of the Willows has collaborated twice, have had multiple tap takeovers in Oz and Japan for each brewery, and shared way too many beers together. 

The Wolf Yokai Hazy IPA version see’s six big juicy hop varieties used in a double dry hop addition. Packed with fruity flavour thanks to Nectaron, Strata and Mosaic Cryo with tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit and stone fruit, while El Dorado, Vic Secret and Kohatu act in support. “Bring on the fire!”
